known for her irreverent and offbeat
humor, she  is a proven favorite on the gay
and straight comedy & festival circuit,
clubs, colleges and corporate events.   

Matina has garnered national attention as a
stand up comic and a popular emcee and is
featured in the book Revolutionary
Laughter - The World Of Women Comics,
(along with Whoopi Goldberg, Joan Rivers,
Brett Butler and Roseanne) and A Funny
Time To Be Gay, which showcases todays
gay and lesbian comedy headliners and
trailblazers. Currently she is a regular on
the L.A. comedy scene and is writing for
television.
